mourning

painting by: Rene Magritte

Long way back I'd go if I could,
Hurt my hand I would if I should,
But I couldn't be what you called was good
What would you If I had stood,

In front of you I would cry
Hope you'd say it was okay
Together once more we would pray
Besides with you I would lay

But tears are meant to be kept
Come to me I shall accept
Your fierce and angry you've kept
It's me myself supposed to be swept
